Clemens phone call with McNamee proves one thing.
He is as much a rat as I thought he was. If you haven’t heard the call, you can read about it or listen to portions of it. Basically, the phone call proves nothing for Clemens. McNamee didn’t know the conversation was being taped, and yet nothing he said in the conversation makes Clemens sound any less guilty. Clemens reputation just takes another hit, taping a conversation then playing it for everyone when it proves nothing, what was he hoping to gain from that? It’s damage control, and he is trying to spread as much doubt as possible, but it’s costing him.
