I haven’t played much poker lately.
I haven’t been in the right mindset lately for online poker, just need a break to recharge the batteries. Funny thing is I did play live Friday and Saturday night. Friday night was my wife’s work Christmas party, and they’re usually fun with a free open bar and a theme each year. This year was Vegas Night. I of course found a Holdem table. This was all free and the person with the most chips at the end of the night received a surprise gift. I didn’t win, my wife had a chance since she took all the chips at our table, but someone else did better. It was fun though. Saturday night we got together with some friends and family, and what do you know, we busted out a holdem tourney at about 12:30am. It was just a friendly and fun game, $5 buy-in, and I finished 3rd after basically being blinded out, and 1st and 2nd paid out. Story of my life. 
Sunday I did get a chance to play a Limit Holdem tourney on PokerStars with a cash prize pool for free, this was the game I got into by winning a freeroll earlier in the week. I finished around 2000 out of about 5100, and the top 800 were cash spots. Oh well, I would have preferred No Limit, but it was all free.
