Customize Flickr: 3 useful scripts.

I’ve recently been using Flickr more and I keep running into situations where I wish there was certain functionality that isn’t there. In comes Firefox and the Firefox add-on Greasemonkey. If you’re not using these two components already, well you should be, and the following scripts won’t work without them.

  1. All Sizes+: Adds awesome functionality to the “All Sizes” button on Flickr photos. Instead of taking you directly to the “All Sizes” page, a pop-up gives you HTML and BB code for the different sizes, as well as other options. This makes it super easy to post to blogs, websites, forums, etc. Respect copyrights though.
  2. Flickr Auto Pagination: If you don’t like having to click “Next” at the bottom of each set of photos, comments, etc- then this script is for you. Each page automatically loads at the end of the page when you get there.
  3. Flickr Rich Edit: Add HTML tools to various text areas. Lets say you’re commenting on a photo, you can easily bold some text, or add a link, all with the click of a button. Simple and useful!

If you love Flickr and use it often, these tools should make your Flickr experience even better.
