Customize Flickr: 3 useful scripts.
I’ve recently been using Flickr more and I keep running into situations where I wish there was certain functionality that isn’t there. In comes Firefox and the Firefox add-on Greasemonkey. If you’re not using these two components already, well you should be, and the following scripts won’t work without them.
- All Sizes+: Adds awesome functionality to the “All Sizes” button on Flickr photos. Instead of taking you directly to the “All Sizes” page, a pop-up gives you HTML and BB code for the different sizes, as well as other options. This makes it super easy to post to blogs, websites, forums, etc. Respect copyrights though.
- Flickr Auto Pagination: If you don’t like having to click “Next” at the bottom of each set of photos, comments, etc- then this script is for you. Each page automatically loads at the end of the page when you get there.
- Flickr Rich Edit: Add HTML tools to various text areas. Lets say you’re commenting on a photo, you can easily bold some text, or add a link, all with the click of a button. Simple and useful!
If you love Flickr and use it often, these tools should make your Flickr experience even better.
