Good day to be a Detroit sports fan.
The Pistons routed the Sixers 100-77, to win their series 4-2 and move on to play the Orlando Magic. This game was never close. The Red Wings continued the routing by beating the Colorado Avalanche 8-2 and sweeping the series. This doesn’t appear to be the rivalry it once was, probably because of the lack of competition. The Tigers may not have routed the Yankees, only winning 8-4, but they did sweep the series in New York for the first time since 1966. The Tigers are starting to look like the team they were built to be.
