I triple dog dare you.
This is my first halfway decent HDR (high dynamic range) image. I’ve tried HDR with loads of other images but never with good results. It’s a learning process and my mindset is quality over quantity. The photo is of our three dogs living the rough life. I’ve been wondering lately, whose house is this?

I love this picture. I think you did a really good job with HDR.
Can’t wait to see more.

Is this the same HDR as in video games ? No wonder those games look like crap !! It’s got nothing to do with a natural look … or is it me ?

Hi Allan- I don’t know if it is the same as in video games. I don’t think it is just you, many HDR images can be over the top and therefore no longer look natural. What people are used to in photography looks natural to them though, but after the addition of some digital manipulation, of course it won’t look like a natural photo anymore. I wish you could see the original of this photo for comparison, then you might understand why I think HDR made this photo better. Yes, maybe less “natural”, but also maybe more detailed and revealing.
