This is what I call grinding it out at Holdem.

Hearts don't always represent love. (by Jim B L)
I played for 2.5 hours and left up 17 cents. It was a rough night, at about midnight I told myself I was going to bed once I finished my beer. A few hands later I won a pot for about $4.50 which put me back in the win column. I knew it was going to be long night when I raised pre-flop (0.25 or 0.30) with AKo and got two callers. Flop came 10 high rainbow with no straight possibilities. So I fired 0.55 at the pot- one fold, one call. Turn came a blank, I still had air (2 over cards), but I bet 0.85 and he called. River came another blank and I figured if this person had anything they should have raised me by now, so I bet a little more then a $1. He calls and shows 2-3 of clubs, giving him bottom pair (threes). He had no flush or straight draws the whole way. So he must have been a really good player because he put me on two over cards. Shortly after that I bet all 3 streets with pocket Kings when no Ace came and got beat by a runner-runner flush (A-6 diamonds). They called my river bet, proving just how bad of a player they were, there were no pairs on the board so they couldn’t think I might have had full house. He left the table instantly. All things considered, I suppose I should be happy I didn’t lose money.
