Had my worst night ever this week, then made a little come back.
I lost $36 in one night during a session where I went on monkey tilt, bringing my bankroll down to $141 at one point. It even took me a while to fall asleep I was so pissed off. That is when I decided I had to do something, even if it was wrong. So I played my first Sit & Go ever. I played two tables at a time, one sit & go and one $5NL table (I usually multi-table at $5NL). There seemed to be a good mix and balance. I ended up playing in 7 sit and go’s, winning 2 and placing in 2 others. Of the remaining 3 that I didn’t place in, 2 of them I finished on the bubble, that was frustrating but all in all I was happy with the little come back. I brought the bankroll back to $162.68, unfortunately that is still a loss of about $11 for the week. I can’t complain, at least I feel good about the game again…for the moment.

As a fellow low stake NL Hold Em Grinder, I encourage you to check out poker stars .01/.02 NL on Sundays. Sept thru mid-December.
I usually play from 1pm your time to 11pm your time and it seems that the casual players that play during that period are much looser than at other points of the week.
Typically multi tableing 3-5 tables but not deep stacking.
Get my double ups and lock em into the bankroll and move on to other ‘loose’ tables.
Standard ABC poker with very few ‘tricky’ plays other than trying to make/build the pot size based on my position and strength of my hand.

Wow, thanks for the great info. I have noticed in the past that I do alright when I play earlier on weekends, but I’m not usually home at that time. Winter is coming though and I’ll be home more then. Thanks again!
