Pet Parrots are like kids.
In fact it is commonly said that parrots are like perpetual toddlers. True to form, like a toddler who tosses the toy aside and plays with the box- Bert our African Grey found this box and played with it for a couple hours.
Note: I’ve had a good three straight days of holdem, but I don’t want to jinx it, so that is all I have to say about that.

Everything I’ve ever heard about parrots make them sound like demanding, yet very rewarding pets. A former co-worker of mine has a bird. I loved hearing stories about his bird.

We used to have Parakeets that chewed up everything in sight to build nests. Crazy stuff.

Haley, I’d say that is pretty accurate. They can be very loud, wasteful, and dirty. At the same time they are smart and form strong bonds with us. Birds are a lot of work and if you can get past that they are well worth it.
nukeit, we have finches that nest like that. We usually provide the material for them.
