Less holdem, more money.

You know the saying, quality over quantity.  I played very little hold ‘em this past week.  A total of maybe 3 hours from Monday through Wednesday and I didn’t play the rest of the week.  I didn’t do this by design, it just happened that way.  For the week I won about $15 and brought the bankroll above $180.  I know that still isn’t all that impressive, unless you compare it to the last few weeks of either losses or wins of just a few dollars.  I kind of wonder if I played a lot, if I would have continued the winning ways or dwindled that win down to a few dollars again?  Maybe I’ll answer that this week?  And now a photo by me:

I agree. I used to play every day and then moved to weekly. I saw a huge difference straight away.

Cool blog by the way :)

Hello, thanks for stopping by. I didn’t play last night, had another birthday party for me. I think there is some merit to just relaxing, playing when you can and not feeling rushed when you do play.

  3. I agree with that Jim, never play rushed. I’ve read a few of your posts and I like your style, playing within your bankroll. Great pictures too by the way!

Hi Geoff- Thanks! I just like to know I have enough time to ride out the variance if need be. Thanks for stopping by, see you around.

I think that less poker is sometimes too. I don’t have any idea how some of those guys can play for 10 hours a day like it’s a job.
