All good things must come to an end.
That great hold ‘em tip I gave a few posts back, bet until the fold, well it back fired on me early and often last night. I played for about 3 hours, a very long session for me, and lost about $20. I even played a sit-n-go to try to mix things up a bit and placed second (should’ve been first, not going there now though). It’s discouraging, how hard it is to climb up the latter, grinding your heart out the whole way, and then a few river cards later and a couple of runner-runners- it’s all whiped out. Everyone was very aggressive last night, and although I was very aware of it I could not seem to counter it with any consistancy. Ace King might as well have been seven deuce last night.

If you want to send over some hands I can post them at completepokerrules.com for some community analysis! Just keep plugging along, you’ll be fine. PS: Love the photography.

Thanks Geoff! I just may do that. I’ll look into some of my hand histories and try to find some interesting spots.
@s1ndr0me- Thanks. I made a quick turn around in my next session, which I was planning on blogging about, but it’s been a busy weekend and a hellish Monday at work.

Hey Jim,
You are almost guaranteed to get chasers in low-limit cash games especially if you are playing limit holdem. It can defintely be a double edged sword. There are times when you love to have them in the game as they will definitely pay you off. On the other hand it sucks when your big hands keep getting drawn out on. Hard to protect them at that level.
Keep grinding bro!
