Making money at hold ‘em while drinking a home brew. It won’t be long now, about 2 weeks, and my Irish Stout home brew will ready for drinking. I bottled it this last Sunday and taste tested about 6 ounces of it. Although it was flat, I was very pleased with the taste, I can’t wait for the finished product.
On the hold ‘em front, I played very little last week, 2 or 3 sessions, I can’t even remember. I’m all about quality over quantity though, and I netted an $18 gain for the week, bringing my bankroll up to $240, just $10 shy of my goal when I move up to $10NL. I’ll probably play tonight- I have to practice up for the Twitter Poker Tour event at PokerStars this Thursday at 9:00pm. (<–find tournament info there) You don’t have to be a Twitter user to play, but it certainly enhances your chances of winning, being able to trash talk with and figure out your opponents between TPT events. I will be surprised if I don’t win, because I have everyone else figured out already. I hope that doesn’t discourage you from playing though.

Damn, that Irish Stout sounds good. I want a review of it when its finished. Give us some ratings, on color, taste, drinkability (joking). But it would be cool to see what beers you have created and how they match up.
Oh yeah, and the TPT! Bring it people. I am calling Street3 going on in 3rd to last place.

Joking aside, I’ve actually been making notes on some of the beers I’ve been drinking lately. So I see beer reviews like you mentioned being a part of this blog soon.
As far as the Twitter Poker Tour, I’m going to give Street3 a little credit, I think he will donk his way into 4th to last place.
Love the beer pic. Mmmmmm Beeeer! Can’t wait for the TPT. Is that Irish Stout the Official Beer of the 2009 TPT Championship?

Thanks Geoff! I can’t wait for the event either, I hope we get a good turnout.
