Welcome to 72suited.com. My name is Jim and sometime around September 2007 I won $2.00 in a freeroll on Pokerstars. To this day I have yet to put any money into Pokerstars. My goal is to continue to increase my bankroll and never put any of my own money in. My bankroll recently (5/7/09) passed $400. My new bankroll goal is $750 and then I’ll move up to $25NL ($0.10/$0.25). This may seem a bit conservative to many, but considering this is the early stages of a very long journey, being conservative is probably the way to go. It has been a serious grind but so far I’m meeting the overall goal. This blog will mainly be about my poker journey. I have other interests though, and will post about them from time to time.
More about me: I live in Michigan and am married to a wonderful woman. I am 33. I am addicted to golf and the Xbox 360. I love beer and beer loves me. I recently took up home brewing and I’m currently drinking an Irish Stout I brewed.
My wife and I have a ton of pets, ranging from a python to birds to fish. I own a 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra with a “few” modifications. I love sports, mainly the Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines, Tigers and sadly I still watch the Lions (they could make history this year, 0-16!). Some people consider me a geek, my job title is Network Administrator, so they’re probably correct.
